NEW "HOUSE" RULES
FOR INLINE HOCKEY |
Fighting: A three (3) game
suspension for the instigator and a two (2) game suspension for the
defender. The referee's determination on who is the instigator and
defender will be final |
Stick Penalties: Any four (4)
stick penalties (hooking, slashing, cross checking and high sticking) in
any one game will result in a game misconduct penalty. The first
offense in a season will result in an ejection for the remainder of that
game. The second offense in the same season will result in an
ejection from that game plus an additional one game suspension. The
third offense in the same season will result in an ejection from that game
plus a two game suspension. |
Any Penalties: Any five (5)
penalties in any one game will result in a game misconduct penalty.
The first offense in a season will result in an ejection for the remainder
of that game. The second offense in the same season will result in
an ejection from that game plus an additional one game suspension.
The third offense in the same season will result in an ejection from that
game plus a two game suspension. |
Goal Tender Water Bottles: Goal
Tender Water Bottles will be allowed as long as they do not drip water on
to the floor. Please do not put "ice cold" water into the water
bottles as they tend to "sweat" and the condensed water will drip on the
floor. If your water bottle makes a mess, it will be removed from
the game, no questions asked. |
All penalties shall result in a
defensive zone face-off on the side of the rink closest to where the puck
was last played, and this face-off placement shall have
priority regardless of the reason that play was stopped (e.g. high stick,
hand pass, puck out of play), unless the penalties are coincidental.
If the penalties are coincidental, the face-off shall be held at the
faceoff spot that is nearest to where play was stopped. |
Shootouts: All Bronze B games ending with a tie in
regulation will go to a 3 man shootout. The home team will decide
which team shoots first. If a winner is still not decided after the
first 3 shooters, it will continue as a sudden death shootout allowing
each team to shoot once until a winner is decided. All rostered
players must shoot before substitute players. |
Clarification of Verbal Abuse
(Unsportsmanlike Conduct) Rule 601 (A)
Any payer who challenges or disputes
the ruling of a referee, attempts to incite an opponent or cause a disturbance during the game shall be assessed a minor penalty for
"Unsportsmanlike Conduct". If the player persists in such conduct, a
misconduct penalty shall be assessed (10:00 min penalty), and any further
persistence by the same player shall result in a game misconduct penalty
(10:00 penalty + one game suspension). |
